PARADIGM

PARADIGM was commissioned by World Expo 1988 in Brisbane, Australia. It is 100 ft. hi. x 8 ft. dia., in stainless steel with 66 airplane landing lights for night-time display. Perhaps the first very large scale sculpture to be structured and light sequenced via computer programming. The themes are: the center of the world-axis mundi; world tree; DNA molecular structure.
